Cleaning Calendar

I pinned this Cleaning Calendar a little while ago on Pinterest and have found it extremely helpful!  I knew I needed it posted up in the house as a reminder of the daily tasks.  I printed the calendar, framed it with some scrapbook paper and hung it up in my bathroom so I could see it every day.
We have a lot of schedules around our house- from cleaning to feeding to napping- and while some days they are completely thrown out the window, it helps to have a cleaning chart to get small tasks done every day and not let everything pile up.

He is Risen!

John 11:25-26

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life;

he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,

and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.

Do you believe this?"

23 years

I turned 23 (a few weeks ago) and celebrated with some dear friends!  We left John Ryman with one of our friends and headed downtown to Dallas for yummy dessert at Dragonfly-Hotel Zaza.  I'm so thankful for another year of life and friends who helped make my birthday weekend so special!

The sun was setting and the lighting was beautiful so I ran inside to grab my camera for a few pictures, but the battery was dead!  So while I waited for the battery to charge enough to turn it on, I grabbed JR's bunny overalls, Easter eggs around the house and the bunny ears for a quick Easter photo shoot :)  I only had a few minutes to take the pictures before the sun went down and my battery died again, but I love the few that I got!  We even had the furs join in:

Baby Dedication (March 24th)

On March 24th (3 months!), Patrick and I had the wonderful opportunity to dedicate John Ryman to the Lord in front of our entire church family.  There were so many families stretched across the stage and it was so special to welcome these babies and families into the church and pray over their lives.  After the service, we went out with friends to celebrate at JR's Grill :)

Thanks to our sweet friend Megan who took these pictures!  She actually just started blogging- head on over {here} and check out her cute blog!

Gracious God, Giver of all life,
We pray for these parents.
Give them wisdom and patience.
Let Your peace and joy dwell in their homes.
Instruct them in Your gospel truth.
Strengthen them in faith.
Sustain them through prayer.
Order their lives by love.
We pray for these children.
Be gracious to them.
Draw them to Yourself.
Help them to love and trust Jesus.
We pray that You will grow them in faith,
So that they might be like arrows in Your hand.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
