You're Invited tomorrow!

I confess.

Have you seen Confessions of a Shopaholic?

It was wonderfully girly!
Maybe not a 10, but perfect for girls night.

Patrick watched it for about ten minutes (if that)

before declaring it was too superficial, dumb, and annoying.
-well I don't know what that says about me since I loved the movie!

It was a little shallow but full of humor and great fashion!
This satire may poke fun at ditsy fashionistas but in reality,
this shopaholic nature has infiltrated our society.
kinda scary how many people are in debt because
they "have" to buy what they see in advertisements.
anyways...

All that to say that it was a cheery little movie that
made me want to grow out my hair,
dress more colorfully, wear high heels,
take salsa lessons again, and to be really honest,
it made me want to go shopping... real bad :)

snowful thoughts

I've been dreaming of snow- hoping for it to start to fall around 7pm Saturday evening as we walk through the luminaria in Mariemont and celebrate the lighting of the tree- oh wouldn't it just be lovely!  red cups filled with peppermint mocha, warm mittens, hand in hand walking through the frosted village, colored lights towering above on the tree, Carolers, a nativity, delicious cookies, and sleigh rides around the square..........
but to keep my mind from wandering too soon into this winter wonderland, I've been dreaming of having a fireplace in our apartment...what is better than sitting by a fire and looking out the frosty window at a snow covered landscape?!

{southern accents}

Oh and did you notice?
The background music is now Christmas!
unfortunately I couldn't find amy grant's music

but the songs are almost as good :)
