watch out!

I heard a knock on the back door yesterday.

My brother was standing there with a group of about ten kids.
He was holding a blue bucket and looking suspicious.
Luckily, before I opened the door, I looked into the bucket.
Guess what I saw?!?!?!

It was a baby snake, but this baby has a big daddy out there somewhere.
They found it down by the creek trapped in a net.
They rescued it! How sweet!????
What were they thinking trying to bring it inside the house?

Vali did not care about the snake.
She was curled up fast asleep.

This is what she does all day long.
Looks comfortable doesn't it?
