When I used to think of velvet,
I pictured a black velvet and plaid dress my mom
had me wear on Christmas Eve when I was little
and the whole day it made my hair crazy with static!
Lately, I have come to realize that velvet isn't all that bad :)

I think velvet is great. It's the perfect luxury fabric for cold weather! I'll take those pants.
